ADUR GLOBAL WATER DANCES

IMAGINE THIS
On Saturday 14 June 2025 at 11 AM, thousands of dancers rose in rhythm across every continent.   From rainforests to rooftops, city squares to remote riverbanks. And right here, in the heart of the Adur Valley, we were part of it.
Welcome to ADUR GLOBAL WATER DANCES.
This international movement is more than a performance - it’s a powerful, unified celebration of water, our most vital resource. And this year, the world turns its eyes to Steyning and the Adur.
Why?
Because we are blessed with something rare and beautiful: chalk streams, including the Tanyard Stream, Fullersbrooke, and Ladywell Stream. Crystal-clear, ecologically precious, and increasingly under threat.
We  dance not just for joy - we dance for clean water for all.
Your hosts? Y’MUM - the unapologetically fabulous community arts group dedicated to intergenerational wellbeing through movement, nature, and (yes!) showing off.
Led by none other than the Bard of Worthing, Joe Bunn.
